Rookie Meleek Thomas, who sat out the first two games, sparked the comeback by hitting four of five three-pointers. The Cavaliers are 2–0 at home this season, and their only injury is Nae’Qwan Tomlin (back), who is out.
Washington (2–2) lost 110–103 at Charlotte, with Trae Young scoring 22 points and handing out 10 assists. On Saturday, the Wizards beat Detroit 114–108 in overtime, with Anthony Davis recording 10 points and 11 rebounds.
