Barcelona midfielder Ilkay Gundogan says he is happy playing for coach Xavi. Gundogan’s agent dispelled claims that he spoke with Galatasaray officials about a move in January.

Today, Gundogan stated: “I have a good relationship with Xavi. I came to Barcelona for him and spoke to him twice before speaking on the phone.
“I think we have great compatibility.”
The former Manchester City captain also shared a message he got from manager Pep Guardiola.
He added, “I recently visited Pep at his house in Barcelona and we talked.
He told me that if I or my family needed anything in Barcelona, I could always contact him.
