This is arguably the biggest game in Portugal this week as two of the country’s big teams go head to head to determine who would be reaching the league Cup final on Saturday.
FC Porto currently lead the Portuguese league table and look set to win the title again this year, but Benfica who just fired their manager would be looking to stop them from winning the league and Cup double by the end of this season.
This game would be played on a neutral ground and should offer both teams an equal chance of winning and it would be interesting to see who come out on top.
FC Porto collected the league title from the hands of Benfica last season and they look to have kept their momentum going into this season, winning the Super Cup within the last 12 months as well.
The last five games between these sides have seen less than 3 goals scored in total while the last two meetings have ended in 1-0 wins for each side.
