AC Milan chief executive Furlani happy with Rennes draw

AC Milan’s chief executive Giorgio Furlani says they are happy with their Europa League draw with Rennes.

Milan will play Rennes in the knockout round for a spot in the round of 16.

Furlani said: “If we want to win the Europa League, anybody would have been fine. We have to be ready to face everyone.

“

He also stated: “It was nice to have won yesterday, but it’s a shame for the boys who got injured.

“It (Milan’s injury concerns) is not easy, we are working on it.

Luckily the young guys who came on deserved their chance and have received good feedback.

“
